The MySol® is a wrap panel carrier with padded wrap straps that allows baby to be carried safely, comfortably and ergonomically in front of the tummy and on the back from newborn to toddler age. The variant with a tie waist strap is a classic Meh Dai — i.e. no buckles on the carrier. Even if different people wear it, no change is required. A buckle hip belt can be interchanged with the tie waist wrap at any time to convert the carrier into a half buckle.
The MySol® grows with you: The bridge between the legs is easily adjustable: important for adopting the spread-squat "M" posture and promoting healthy hip development, especially in the first year of life. Thanks to the patented double tunnel, you can move the waistband to the lower tunnel as baby gets bigger - around 6-12 months.
Material sling fabric made of 100% cotton, of which 20% is recycled cotton machine-washable
The Girasol Story:
The Girasol carriers and wraps were born out of a love for the Guatemalan highlands and its people. Gerhard and Camilla began simply by selecting handmade items from the Mayan markets and selling them in Mexico. After they moved back to Berlin, their business grew as they continued to source their products from Guatemala and Mexico. These are small craft businesses, cooperatives, and independent weavers and tailors. When purchasing, manufacturing, and distributing, Girasol always adheres to the principles of fair trade and sustainability. Even as their business has grown, their relationship with the people of Central America hasn't diminished as more than half of their profits go right back to the people of Guatemala.
